Summer Programs

​​​​​​​​​High School Credit Recovery 

Summer school will be held at Montgomery High School. Session 1 is June 11 - 28, 2018 and Session 2 is July 9 - 26, 2018. For information and forms, go to the ​High School Extended Learning website.

​E​​​​lementary Summer School

Investigations Summer Camp will be held at Albert Biella Elementary, June 11 - 29, 2018 - Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This program will serve SRCS students who were in Transitional Kindergarten - 5th grade during the 2017-18 school year. There will also be week-long EXCEL for Youth classes at Helen Lehman Elementary, from June 11 ​- 22. To learn more: Elementary Summer Academy

​​Project Make

​Project Make at Cook Middle School is open to students who were in 4th - 7th grade during the 2017-18 school year. It will be held June 11 - 29, 2018 - Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students will become a "maker" of practical, imaginative and creative hands-on projects. Come learn how to create things like robots, clothing, food, rockets and much more. Learn more: Project Make

The Mike Hauser Academy - Making Opportunities Via Education 

​This program gives students who are entering 9th grade a chance to learn how science, technology, engineering and math are used in the workplace. Students who successfully complete the program, which is Monday - Thursday, June 11-29, 2018, will earn 5 elective credits for high school. It is open to students who speak English as a second language and/or students who could benefit from extra math and science. Students will visit various companies in Santa Rosa; the program is a partnership between SRCS and the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. Extended School Year (ESY)

​Extended School Year services are designed to support a student with a disability as documented under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to maintain the academic, social/behavioral, communication, or other skills that they have learned as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Section 504 accommodation plan.​ Learn more about Extended School Year (ESY)​

​​Mariachi and more at Cook Middle

​​​​Mariachi, One City Visual Arts, Hip Hop Dance and Science camps will be held​ at Cook Middle School in July. They culminate in a performance and art show at the Luther Burbank Center. Learn more about Mariachi and​ more at Cook Middle​.
