Mesa is located on the Santa Rosa High School Campus.

Mesa Necessary High School is a small Necessary School with less than 40 students. It presents a unique opportunity for students who perform best in a small learning environment. Instruction is presented in a personalized style and structure that allows students to learn at their speed and needs. This learning environment encourages creativity and management of personal goals.

Students receive one credit per 15 hours of productive work in a subject area. Diplomas are granted upon completion of 220 credits required for graduation. Students must also pass the CAHSEE test. Mesa is currently accepting application from 11th and 12th grade students.
